Auction through competitive bidding for allocating coal blocks

New Delhi, Nov 15 (UNI) The Union Cabinet today decided to introduce auction through competitive bidding as a selection process for the allocation of coal blocks for captive mining for specified or notified end users.

This will make allocation of coal blocks not only objective but also transparent, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Priya Ranjan Dasmunshi told reporters here.
