AP CM district perform unsatisfactorily in RTI Act: CIC

Tirupati, Nov 15(UNI) Out of 23 districts in Andhra Pradesh, Kadapa, the native place of Chief Minister Y S Rajasekara Reddy and Karimnagar had performed unsatisfactorily in Right to Information RTI) Act, Chief Information Commissioner (CIC) C D Arah said today.

Talking to newspersons here after a review meeting with Chittoor, Ananthapur, Kadapa and Nellore district administrators, he said the relevant documents and information pertaining to data should be recorded in time in all the districts.

Mr Arah warned that stringent action would be initiated against the errand officials.

The Information Commissioner Dilip Reddy said the remaining districts would be completed shortly including Telengana and reports would be submitted in the State Assembly by next March.
