New Delhi, Nov 14 (UNI) Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee inaugurated a High Definition Television Studio in the Parliament House today.
This studio would transmit the live proceedings of the House to the public and the TV will be fully manned by Lok Sabha Television officals.
The Speaker also visited the Lok Sabha chamber to see the functioning of 10 new Robotic cameras.
Besides, Mr Chatterjee inaugurated a High Definition studio with a new Production control room in Parliament Library building for recording the programmes of 24 hour Lok Sabha TV channel and unveiled a plaque in the new studio.
The Speaker also graced the Children's day celebrations titled ''Chacha Nehru Ka Gulab'' held in Parliament Library Building today.
On the occasion an estimated 100 children, drawn from the underprivileged sections of society, participated in various activities, including quiz, painting exhibition, short play.
