New Delhi, Nov 14 (UNI) A six-member National Human Rights Commission team will visit strife-torn Nandigram tomorrow to ascertain the exact nature of the violence happened there, look into the genesis of the bloodbath and the reasons which led to casualties.

Apart from this, the team would also look into the role of the police and the local administration to fix the responsibility for the mayhem unleashed there.

It would also suggest how a durable peace can be established in the region and the recurrence of such incidents stopped.

The review of the progress made in the investigation into the incidents of violence in the same area in March this year will also be done during the team's visit.

The NHRC, on Monday, had sought a response of the West Bengal government within ten days on the volatile situation in Nandigram and the areas around it.
