Production warrant against Hashimpura massacre case accused

New Delhi, Nov 14 (UNI) A local court today issued production warrant against one of the accused in the Hashimpura massacre case.

Additional Sessions Judge H S Sharma issued production warrant against accused Ram Dhan, who is presently lodged in the Uttar Pradesh jail and facing trial in the case.

Earlier, police had filed a supplementary chargesheet against another accused Vasant Ballabh in the Ghaziabad court which was transferred to the Delhi court on the Supreme Court's order.

The Hashimpura massacre occurred in Meerut in May 1987 in which members of the State Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) allegedly shot dead 42 members of the minority community.
