PMK urges admn for Child Welfare Board

Puducherry, Nov 14 (UNI) PMK parliamentary party leader M Ramadass today urged the administration to take steps to set up a Child Welfare Board in the Union Territory.

In a statement here, Prof Ramadass said that he would do whatever possible in the capacity as the MP from the union territory.

Stressing that more attention be paid to children of BPL families, he said that steps should be taken to prevent female infenticide, for which a social movement must also be launched.
