Krishna Byre Gowda appointed Karnataka Youth Congress chief

New Delhi, Nov 14 (UNI) Mr Krishna Byre Gowda, the Congress MLA from Mulbagal, has been appointed the President of the Karnataka Pradesh Youth Congress.

The appointment announced was by AICC General Secretary Rahul Gandhi after approval from Congress President Sonia Gandhi.

Mr Krishna, son for former Karnataka Minister C Byre Gowda, succeeds Mr Sadananda Danganavar, who was brought in as the President less than six months ago. After getting elected as an MLA from Janata Dal (United), he shifted his loyalty to Congress prior to the last Lok Sabha elections.
