Indusind Bank opens fourth branch in Bangalore
New Delhi, Nov 14 (UNI) Indusind Bank Ltd today said it has inaugurated its fourth branch in Bangalore.
''Marathahalli, 10-15 years back was like a normal village in the outskirts of Bangalore. Today the picture has changed. One can see it growing into an important residential and commercial centres of Bangalore. With our technology, and customised products and services, we are confident in meeting the banking needs of the public in this part of the city,'' Indusind Bank Executive Vice President&Head (Wholesale Banking Group) J Moses Harding said.
Indusind Bank reported a 30 per cent rise in net profit for the quarter ended September 30, to Rs 22.3 crore, as against Rs 17.2 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The rise in net profits was due to a growth in net interest income, which went up by 28 per cent to Rs 460.5 crore, as compared to last year's Rs 360.6 crore. Non interest income, on the other hand, went upto 11 per cent to Rs 64.9 crore from Rs 58.6 crore.
