Haryana showcases theme specific products at IITF

New Delhi, Nov 14 (UNI) Keeping in view with this year's special theme 'Processed Food and Agro Industries' at the 27th India International Trade Fair (IITF 2007), Haryana is exhibiting theme specific products in the fortnight-long mega fair.

The Haryana Pavilion showcased that the state was primarily an agarian state but has a domination in Food and Agro Industries.

The pavilion displayed various industrial products of Food and Agro Industries and their supporting allied industries on its five floors.

The concept of designing of the pavilion was also in sync with this year's theme and the entrance covered with a giant sun on the map of Haryana and a number of processed food products. The sun was symbolic of energy upon which all organic matter draws upon and it was also converging prosperity, health and happiness.

The five crescents made up the entrance to the pavillion and each crescent had a product used in food processing. The landscape area of the pavillion consisted of a traditional Haryana village running on non-conventional energy such as solar and biogas.

It had also shown that how products produced in villages reach in the processing plants at the right time so that the farmer were paid an appropriate price value for his produce and the processing industries received appropriate profits.

The mural on the rear and curved walls showed the process of products coming from the farms and the end product which eventually gets in the market and also the map of Haryana showing different chief crops and agricultural produce of the state.

During the IITF, the Trade Fair Authority Haryana (TFAH) would also conduct seminars which would benefit the farmers, industrialists and also enhance the growth of agro processing industries in the State.
