Fifth class student commits suicide in Punjab

Fatehgarh Sahib, Nov 14: A fifth class student allegedly committed suicide at Mandi Gobindgarh today after his father forced him to go to school.

Police sources said Surinder Kumar, a watchman in an industrial unit at Mandi Gobindgarh, rebuked his 12-year old son Vikas Kumar for not going to the school.

Vikas later went to school after consuming some poisonous substance.

When he reached school, his condition started deteriorating and was immediately taken to the Civil Hospital, Mandi Gobindgarh, where he died. UNI
