Danish PM says everything points to gov't continuing
COPENHAGEN, Nov 14 (Reuters) Danish Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen said it was almost certain that his Liberal-Conservative government coalition had won a third term after parliamentary elections.
''We still lack the entire picture but everything points to the government coalition continuing, and that's historic,'' he told supporters yesterday at the Liberal Party's post-election venue.
''It's historic that for the third election in a row the Liberals are Denmark's biggest party,'' Rasmussen said, adding he wanted to thank the Danish people for their backing.
''I will do my utmost and put all my energy into living up to the trust they've shown us this evening,'' he said.
