Congress to release list of candidates tomorrow

Ahmedabad, Nov 14 (UNI) The Congress will release the first list of its nominees for the Gujarat assembly polls tomorrow.

''The screening of candidates is still going on and it will be only later tomorrow that a partial list will be released,'' Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) Chief Bharatsinh Solanki said.

He told UNI that the issue of seat-sharing with the NCP would be made known only after the list is released.

Filing of nominations begins tomorrow for the first phase of the polls, slated on December 11 for Saurashtra and south Gujarat regions, and ends on November 22. The last date for filing nominations for the second phase of the polls, slated on December 16, is November 28.
