Child Labour Projects in 3 districts of Haryana

Chandigarh, Nov 14 (UNI) The Central government has sanctioned National Child Labour Projects for three districts of Haryana -- Panipat, Faridabad and Gurgaon.

Stating this here today, a spokesman for the Labour Department said under these projects survey on child labour was being conducted and the identified child labourers were rehabilitated in special schools.

These schools provide pre-vocational skills, stipends, mid-day meal and health care facilities. Some more districts would be covered under the National Child Labour Projects in the near future, he added.
