Bomb explosion at Deputy Chief Minister's function

Bokaro, Nov 14 (UNI) A bomb, kept in a motor cycle, went off at a function of Jharkhand Deputy Chief Minister Sudhir Mahto in the Steel city today.

People ran helter skelter following the explosion but no one was injured in it, Superintendent of Police Priya Dubey said.

Mr Mahto was at a 'udyog mela' held at the sector-2 under the Steel city polce station when the bomb exploded.

The SP said two youths were noticed loitering around but they disappeared before the explosion.

Police were investing the incident.
