A new political party 'Suvarna Yuga' launched

Madikeri, Karnataka, Nov 14 (UNI) Mr Mahima Patel, son of former Karnataka Chief Minister late J H Patel today launched a new political party called 'Suvarna Yuga' at Talacauvery, the birth place of river Cauvery.

Announcing the launch after Performing pooja to river Cauvery with about 600 supporters, Mr Patel said that his party will grow into a big power, just like river Cauvery reaching many areas, in spite of a small at the beginning point.

Mr Patel clarified that he quit Janata Dal (Secular) not because that it did not give him any position, but because it failed to keep up promise of transfer of power to BJP on October three. He remarked that the present 'remarriage' was nothing but an opportunist move.

He welcomed MLAs to join his party and said that there are many MLAs who wish to join his party and did not do so as they do not want to support him openly at present.

His mother Sarvamangala Patel inaugurated the party by lighting the lamp. Wife Shylaja was also present.
