Muktsari juttis: A rage in Punjab

Punjab, Nov 13: Traditional Punjabi shoes called 'juttis" are very popular among the people in rural areas. Urban citizens too prefer them mostly as casual wear.

And the best of these juttis are available in Muktsar city, which has for long become synonymous with this trade. These exquisite juttis are adorned with tilla zari or gold embroidery work and phulkari or floral embroidery. Muktsari juttis are a rage not only in Punjab but also across the entire country.
