Change your operator, not your mobile no

New Delhi, Nov 13: The telecom department has come up with a new mantra for the Indian mobile users - Change your operator, not your mobile number!

Under this new system, subscribers would not have to change their mobile phone number if they shift from one operator to another. The Department of Telecommunications or DoT has announced the introduction of “number portability" in the 4 metros of the country.
