TNCC team to look into attack on YC chief

Chennai, Nov 13 (UNI) The Tamil Nadu Congress Committee (TNCC) today constituted a fact-finding team to look into the attack on Youth Congress President Mayura S Jayakumar on October 11.

The decision was taken at a meeting at party headquarters 'Satyamurthi Bhavan' this evening.

The Committee, headed by former PCC President Kumari Ananthan, would have Deputy CLP leader D Yasoda and senior leader G Vadivalu as its members, a release said here.

The Committee would submit its report to TNCC President M Krishnassamy in a week.

The meeting, convened by MP and party high command observer for Tamil Nadu V Arunkumar, also expelled South Chennai District Youth Congress President Williams from the party with immediate effect.
