Former HAL Chief selected for INAE award

Bangalore, Nov 13 (UNI) Former HAL Chairman C G Krishnadas Nair has been selected by Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE) for 'Lifetime achievement award in the field of engineering'.

The nomination comes in recognition of Dr Nair, who is presently the President of Society of Indian Aerospace Technologies and Industries (SIATI), for his contributions in engineering education, research and industry management, a SITAI release said.

This is the highest honour for engineers from INAE, which encompasses all branches of engineering and apex body of engineering professionals.

Some of the former recipients include Prof Satish Dhawan, APJ Abdul Kalam, Dr Anil Kakodkar and Dr K Kastirirangan.
