Dabur forays into surface cleaner market

Chennai, Nov 13: Dabur India Limited today announced its entry into burgeoning hard surface cleaner market by launching a kitchen cleaner and a floor cleaner under the brand name 'Dazzl'.

Talking to newspersons here, Dabur India Senior General Manager (Home Care) Girish Kumar said the product ensures complete protection from oil, grease and invisible germs in the kitchen.

''The unique formulation with 'SQL Activ' removes grease, oil and food stains,'' he added.

He said ''the Dazzl disinfectant floor cleaner had a unique 'Dirt Trap Technology' developed in collaboration with a New York-based international research laboratory.'' Mr Girish said Dabur was rolling out 'Dazzl' initially in South India, starting with Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.

''Tamil Nadu and Karnataka are very important markets for household cleaning products. We expect a very promising response to the new product,'' he said.
