Upinderjit Kaur operated, fitted with pace maker

Kapurthala, Nov 12 (UNI) Punjab Education Minister Dr Upinderjit Kaur was today fitted with a pacemaker after an operation in a private Hospital at Jalandhar.

According to family members here, the operation was successful and her condition was stable.

However, the doctors have advised her complete rest for two weeks.

Dr. Upinderjit Kaur suddenly became unwell following slow pulse rate at her residence here last evening and was immediately rushed to Tagore hospital at Jalandhar.

The doctors fitted a pace maker to improve her pulse rate with a minor surgery.
