Senior BSP leader dies under mysterious circumstances

Mainpuri, Nov 12 (UNI) Former Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) district unit president Lalaram Rishi was found dead under mysterious circumstances at his rented accomodation here.

Police Superintendent Ashok Kumar today said the BSP leader was found dead at his room in Dayanand hostel late last night.

The body bore bullet wounds at the gun-point and prima facie, it appeared Rishi committed suicide, Mr Kumar said.

He, however, did not rule out the possibility of murder.

Meanwhile, investigations were underway.
