Huge cache of firearms recovered

Sasaram, Nov 12 (UNI) The local police today recovered a huge cache of fire arms from Vensagar village under Karakat police station area in Rohtas district.

Deputy superintendent of police Upendra Prasad Singh here said, acting on a tip off, sleuths of local police raided a hideout at Vensagar village and recovered huge cache of firearms.

The seized fire arms included three cane bombs, 15 kg of explosives, three detonators and large quantities of fuse wires.

Intensive interrogation was on to extract more information from the arrested people, Mr Singh added.
