Fire claims three lives in AP

Itanagar, Nov 12: At least three people were killed and around 27 houses gutted in a devastating fire at Dalbing Village under upper Siang district.

Deputy Commissioner Mimum Tayeng said here today that a medical team along with relief materials had been rushed to the spot.

Rs one lakh was sanctioned by the district administration for the rehabilitation work. The deceased were asleep when the fire broke out yesterday. While two of them lost lives in the fire, the third died of suffocation, he added.

The cause of the fire and extent of damage were yet to be ascertained. UNI
