ESCP-EAP London announces PSDM programme in Mumbai

Mumbai, Nov 12 (UNI) ESCP-EAP European School of Management is conducting a five-day programme called 'Problem Solving Decision Making' (PSDM) for the first time in the country here from February 11 to February 14, 2008.

The programme creates and concentrates 'in vitro' the typical situations that professionals at different levels in the organisation face on a regular basis. Problem Solving and Decision Making provides necessary business skills to professionals with high potential in order make them more operational.

The programme would be conducted in English by ESCP-EAP London campus professors with academic and/or business experience, who fully understand the real educational needs of the participants.

Speaking to reporters today, Director of Corporate Education, Tore Hellebo, said '' PSDM is a programme that is designed for professionals who need to develop key management capabilities like communication, team effectiveness and decision making. I am sure many companies in India would like to send their professionals for this programme.'' He said ''PSDM is suitable for professionals from engineering/scientific background or with a specific role within an organisation who need specific skills to move into a general management role or young professionals, recently graduated, new starters in companies and professionals changing jobs or moving into a new organisation.'' ''Participant's learning processes are rooted in practical experimentation in combination with classroom theory sessions. The PSDM programme is structured around a case study, providing the context upon which group work and role-play are based,'' informed Mr Hellebo.
