CM announces new Haj Manzil for pilgrims

New Delhi, Nov 12 (UNI) Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit today announced that a modern, spacious and green new Haj Manzil would be constructed at Dwarka in North-West Delhi.

''We shall try to make it a permanent asset for Haj Yatris where all necessary amenities would be made available,'' she said.

The DDA will allot a plot measuring one acre for construction of a new Haj Manzil, she said at a function organised at Indira Gandhi International Airport to bid farewell to the first batch of Haj pilgrims.

The new Haj Manzil which would come up near International Airport would prove to be convenient for the pilgrims in years to come, she added.
