Army jawan killed in grenade blast in J

Jammu, Nov 12 (UNI) An army jawan was killed and another injured when a grenade exploded at their place of posting near Bhaderwah in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir today, local sources said.

Sepoy Bhim Kashyap of 4 Rashtriya Rifles (RR), resident of Jharkhand state, died in the blast which occurred at 0935 hrs at Saringal near Bhaderwah, the sources told UNI.

Another unidentified and critically injured soldier was shifted to the hospital, they said.

However, the Army officials were tight-lipped on the incident.
