AIYF prevents plying of bus

Puducherry, Nov 12 (UNI) Volunteers of the All India Youth Federation (AIYF) today prevented a private bus from plying between Puducherry and Villianur via Kombakkam to demand more buses on the route as only one was plying now.

Police intervention failed to sort out the matter, following which the transport department authorities and Tahsildar rushed to the spot and held talks with the agitators. They assured to provide more buses on the route before January next, following which the AIYF volunteers called off the agitation.
