3 months course on banking introduced in DU's Open School
New Delhi, Nov 12 (UNI) A three-month certification course aimed at acquainting students to practical aspects of banking operations will be introduced in Delhi University's School of Open Learning.
The ''Foundation of Banking'' course to be launched as part of the partnership between Delhi University and ICICI Bank is expected to help students in getting employment in the banking and financial sector.
The course would be offered as a full time classroom based training. The candidate should be a graduate of open school and must score at least 50 per cent marks in aggregate in B com (Hons)/B com (Pass).
Final
year
students
of
the
subject
can
also
apply
provided
they
have
aggregate
of
50
per
cent
in
the
first
two
years.
They
must
also
get
50
per
cent
aggregate
marks
by
October
2008
to
be
eligible
for
placements
with
ICICI
Bank,
a
release
here
said
today.
