26 fall ill after attending marriage party in J

Jammu, Nov 12 (UNI) At least 26 people fell ill after attending a marriage party at Bhaderwah, in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir, today.

Twenty-six people, including the entire family of a newly-wed couple who had lunch at the post-marriage party at Qilla Mohalla in Bhaderwah, were shifted to Sub-District Hospital Bhaderwah in a serious condition, a Health official said.

According to sources, the majority of the people who attended the party complained of stomach pain and several started vomiting after eating lunch.

''At least 26 people were shifted to hospital out of which eight were discharged after treatment,'' Block Medical Officer Dr Mohammad Ashraf Wani told UNI
