200 fall ill from falciferum malaria and dengu

Etah, Nov 12 (UNI) As many as 200 people have taken ill due to the fatal mosquito borne falciferum malaria and dengu in this district.

''The cases of falciferum malaria, the deadly disease in Southern India, has started gripping several parts of the eastern Uttar Pradesh,'' Chief Medical Superintendent of district hospital Dr K K Gupta told UNI.

People living in slums, towns and villages in the district are falling ill due to the disease,'' he added.

Besides, several dengu patients had been admitted to the hospitals.
