2 militants killed in Kashmir

Baramulla, Nov 12: Two militants and a soldier were killed in a night-long encounter at Sopore in North Kashmir.

Official sources said an encounter took place between the militants and a joint search party of army and Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police at Sopore last evening.

The operation was still going on when the reports last came in.

Sources said a jawan of SOG was also injured.
