Rain likely to occur in Tamil Nadu, Assam

Pune, Nov 11 (UNI) Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in some parts of Jammu and Kashmir, Tamil Nadu and in remaining parts of interior Karnataka. They were appreciably to markedly above normal in Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Rajasthan, east Madhya Pradesh and in some parts of sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, west Madhya Pradesh, Saurashtra and Kutch, madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada and were above normal in some parts of Orissa, Konkan and Goa, Vidarbha, coastal Andhra Pradesh and in remaining parts of Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and of west Madhya Pradesh. They were normal over the rest of the country.

Heavy to very heavy rain is likely to occur at most places in Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Tamil Nadu and at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal and Sikkim, Orissa, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over the Jharkhand, Bihar, Gujarat state, Konkan and Goa, madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana, Rayalaseema and Karnataka state.

Heavy rain have occurred at most places in Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Very light rain have occurred at isolated places in east Madhya Pradesh.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Lakshadweep. Mainly dry weather prevailed over the west Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chattisgarh, Gujararat state, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana, Rayalaseema and Karnataka state.
