One killed in mortar explosion

Indore, Nov 11 (UNI) One person was killed and four people, including three jawans, were injured in an accidental mortal explosion at the army's Hema range in Mhow cantonment area near here, police said today.

Mahendra Lodh assumed that the 51 MM mortar shell had been spent.

He was collecting the shell when it exploded killing him on the spot. Three jawans and one girl were injured.

The injured were admitted to army hospital.
