Man dies after attack with iron rod on Diwali night

Moga, Nov 11 (UNI) A 54-year-old man who was allgedly attacked with iron rods by a neighbour residing in village Daya, on the night of Diwali, succumbed to his injuries at the civil hospital last night.

Police has registered a case under section 302 IPC on the complaint of Harpal Kaur wife of deceased Darshan Singh against Ram Singh of the same village.

According to police, investigations revealed that the accused Ram Singh suspected Darshan Singh of having illicit relations with his wife.

The accused was still at large, police said.
