Halamala panchayat Mukhiya arrested under Arms Act

Kishanganj, Nov 11 (UNI) Kishanganj village panchayat chief Awdhesh, wanted in a case of assault and arms act, was finally arrested today.

Officer-in-Charge(OC) Kishanganj police station Binay Kumar said the 'mukhiya' was wanted in a case registered under Mirganj police station in Gopalganj district of Bihar and was successfully dodging them. He was wanted in an assault and arms act under Section 147,323 and Arms Act among others.

The mukhiya has been handed over to his Mirganj counterpart, he told.
