First batch of Haj pilgrims from AP to take off tomorrow

Hyderabad, Nov 11 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy will flag off the first batch of Haj pilgrims from the State, tomorrow.

Andhra Pradesh Haj Committee Chairman Hafiz Peer Shabbir Ahmed said in a statement here that Minister of State for External Affairs E Ahamed and State Minister for Energy, Coal and Minorities Welfare Md Ali Shabbir would attend the function.

The special chartered flights would take off from the Hyderabad airport tomorrow. The Haj season had commenced with the setting up of the Haj camp at Nampally in the city.
