WB: Fire breaks out at shoe factory godown

Kolkata, Nov 11: Fire broke out at a plastic shoe factory godown at Cossipore road under Chitpur police station in the northern fringes of the city last night, fire brigade sources said here today.

About 16 fire engines were rushed to the spot and the fire was brought under control by early this morning, the sources said.

However, no one was injured in the incident.

The cause of the fire could not be ascertained yet, the sources said, adding that it could have been triggered by a short circuit.
