DMDK workers arrested for humiliating Thirumavalavan

Perambalur, Tamil Nadu, Nov 11 (UNI) Police have arrested three DMDK workers on the charge of garlanding with footwear a cut out of Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) General Secretary Thol Thirumavalavan at Velvimangalam village, near here, yesterday.

Police said the arrested were identified as Malarkannan, Ramasamy and Vinayagamoorthy. Police were on the look out for eight more DMDK workers in this connection.

Meanwhile, police have arrested a person for damaging the VCK's digital banner at Elunutrimangalam village near Kulithalai in Karur district yesterday.
