TN CM announces solatium to families of killed workers

Chennai, Nov 10: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi today announced a solatium of Rs two lakh each to the families of five construction workers, who were killed in the bridge collapse in Dubai on Nov 8 evening.

Of the seven people killed in the accident, five hailed from Tamil Nadu. The deceased were identified as Shajehan Samsudhin, R Mohan Lakshman, A Govindam, Mathai Lagham and K Thangam.

The Chief Minister also expressed his deep condolences to the bereaved families.
