Reporter assaulted by TNLA activists

Cuddalore, Nov 10: A reporter of a private Tamil TV channel was allegedly assaulted by activists of the Tamil Nadu Liberation Army (TNLA) here last night police said today.

They said Afroz (30) of Makkal TV was attacked by two TNLA activists while he was returning home. The injured reporter was admitted to a private hospital here.

Cuddalore Press Club has condemned the attack and demanded that the culprits be brought to book. Meanwhile, police arrested two persons--Faruk Khan and Rafiq--in connection with the attack.
