Five killed in different road mishaps in Fatehabad district
Fatehabad, Nov 10 (UNI) Five people were killed and equal number injured in three different accidents in the district today.
Three people were killed when a car carrying them hit against a tree near Bhattu Kalan in this district.
The occupants of the car were going from village Pilimandori village towards Dhingsara village to see a "mela" when driver Devi Lal lost control of the car due to a heap of stones lying on the roadside and the vehicle hit against a tree.
Sohan Lal (50) died on the spot, while his wife Leela Wanti and Dalip succumbed to their injuries in the hospital. The driver and a woman were seriously injured.
In another accident, a motorcyclist Atma Ram was killed when his bike was hit by a tractor trolley near Bharpoor village near Ratia today. Two people who were riding pillion were injured.
In the third accident, Krishan Kumar of Jandli Kalan village died when he fell from his bicycle on the banks of Jandli minor canal.
His head hit against the bank and then fell into the river. He was fished out of the river by passersby but had died by then.
