First Haj flight to Jeddah from Bihar takes off tomorrow
Patna, Nov 10 (UNI) The first special flight carrying 105 Haj pilgrims from Bihar to Jeddah via Mumbai will be operated from Patna Airport tomorrow, opening a new opportunity for the Haj pilgrims from the state.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will see the first group of Haj pilgrims off at the newly constructed Haj House here after a religious congregation prior to the departure of the flight.
Official sources said here today during the next fortnight two Jeddah-bound flights would be operated from here everyday to carry about 100 odd haj pilgrims in each of them.
A total number of 3345 Haj pilgrims from Bihar had so far registered their names for the annual pilgrimage from the state this year.
