Diarrhoea claims two lives in Darbhanga

Darbhanga, Nov 10 (UNI) Two children died of diarrohea at Godhiyari village under Hanuman Nagar block of the district today.

District civil surgeon Dr Lakhinder Prasad said here that Chanchal Kumar(14) and Sunil Kumar(11), died when they were being rushed to Darbhanga Medical College Hospital (DMCH) from the Primary Health Centre(PHC) at Hanuman Nagar.

A woman, also suffering from acute diarrhoea, was undergoing treatment at DMCH, he added.

''More than 20 people are suffering from diarrhoea when it broke out in the village, three days earlier,'' Mr Prasad said adding a medical team, headed by Dr Ajoy Kumar, had been sent there.
