Vigilance Bureau recommends action against 36 govt employees
Chandigarh, Nov 8 (UNI) The Haryana State Vigilance Bureau has recommended registration of criminal cases against two gazetted officers, 34 non-gazetted officials and six others after they were found guilty in the inquiries conducted by the bureau.
Stating this here today, an official spokesman said the bureau had also recommended recovery of Rs 6,54,340, with registration of cases and departmental action against the defaulters.
In another case, it had also recommended departmental action against 153 gazetted officers and 11 non gazetted officials in basis of inquiries conducted by it.
He said the bureau had caught red-handed 15 government officials while accepting bribes ranging from Rs 5000 to Rs 10,000.
