Three interstate burglars held; 12 cases worked out
New Delhi, Nov 8 (UNI) With the arrest of three men, the Special Staff of the Delhi Police claims to have busted a gang of interstate burglars operating in the areas of the capital and NCR.
The police said they had cracked 12 cases of burglary with the arrests.
Acting on a tip, the police arrested the three -- Rakesh, Arif and Shankar -- in the Sultanpuri area and button-actuated knives were recovered from their possession.
During interrogation, they said they were part of the Hansraj gang and committed burglaries in different parts of Delhi and NCR.
A case has been registered against the trio under sections 25, 54 and 59 of the Arms Act.
