Sinha, Azad greet people on Diwali

Jammu, Nov 8 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Governor S K Sinha and Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad today greeted the people on the occasion of Diwali, the festival of lights.

The Governor, in his message, said Diwali underscores high values and the ethos of India's great civilisation. ''The feelings of warmth, love and joy which everyone feels while celebrating this festival adds to our composite heritage, promoting amity and brotherhood,'' he said.

''May Diwali this year usher in peace, prosperity and happiness for all,'' he said.
