Madhya Pradesh: Sibling killed for 5 kg jaggery

Shivpuri (MP), Nov 8: Following a dispute over sharing 5 kg jaggery, a tribal youth murdered his younger brother,at village Jhalkui near Bamorkala of this district, police said today.

Police said Mulua and his younger brother Binder returned to the village yesterday after working as daily wage workers in Mungaoli area for over a fortnight. They had purchased 5 kg jaggery at Mungaoli.

Binder(28) sought sharing of jaggery, which his elder brother rejected resulting in a scuffle in which Binder was murdered with a sharp-edged weapon, police said, adding Mulua was absconding.
