Samir Kumar Barua takes over as IIM-A Director

Ahmedabad, Nov 8 (UNI) Prof Samir Kumar Barua has taken over as director of the Indian Institute of Management-Ahmedabad (IIM-A).

Prof Barua has been in the faculty of IIM-A since 1980. He succeeds Dr Bakul H Dholakia who completed his five-year term as director on October 10. During the intervening period, Prof Jayanth R Varma, the dean, officiated as director-in-charge.
