Robbery bid foiled in Nashik

Nashik, Nov 8: Three unidentified persons made an unsuccessful attempt of robbing a mobile shop in Gangapur area last night.

According to sources, three unidentified persons entered Celmax Mobile Shoppe and demanded money from the owner, Rahul Mankar, on gun point.

The trio tried to loot valuables from the shop but due to strong resistance from Mankar and crowd of people, that had gathered outside the shop, they could not succeed in their attempt.

They succeeded in running away but had to leave their motorcycle behind as the agitated crowd pelted stones at them. One of the robbers was injured in the stone pelting. Mankar was also injured in his scuffle with the robbers.

Police have seized the motor bike and further investigations are on.
